“Advocacy of children mandates that the unique developmental and learning needs of all children be honored, acknowledged and addresses such that each child may reach his or her highest potential.” In SEPTA as advocates for the exceptional child, we recognize the special needs of these children both academically and behaviorally, emotionally and physically. We lend our support as an organization of parents and educators in creating a community whereby the needs of these children will be met adequately and appropriately so that these exceptional children may share in the opportunity to reach their optimal potential.
